    APM2.6 External Compass

    This is a custom made 3-axis digital compass board based on the Honeywell's HMC5883L for APM2.5+ and especially for APM2.6 boards.

    If your Ardupilot Mega is getting strong magnetic interference, by installing this compass board further away from interference source your flight accuracy will be higher.

    When using on APM2.5+ boards you need to disable internal compass. APM2.6 board you only need to activate if from MIssion Planner.
